About the Committee
The Calgary Stampede Parade, the official kick-off to the Calgary Stampede, is organized by the Stampede's Parade Committee, a group of 125+ dedicated volunteers.
The parade involves hundreds of other volunteers on parade day, including 125+ Street Marshals, a variety of community and business sponsors and the City of Calgary’s transit, street department, police, fire and EMS professionals.
The committee's annual focus is to produce the world's greatest western-themed parade. Volunteers start work each September prior to parade day to put on an impressive show that's fun for everyone…after all, “We’re Greatest Together”.
Our great team of volunteer coordinators is always ready and eager to help make the most of your parade experience. Please feel free to contact us.
